Travel health consultations and vaccination services
East Hills Medical Centre offers travel health consultations and vaccination services at the clinic in southeast Calgary. A travel consultation is a conversation with a family physician about the trip you are actually taking — where you are going, when you leave, how long you will be away and what you plan to do there — and what that means for your health before you go.
The clinic also gives routine immunizations for children and adults, and can review the vaccinations you have already had against what is routinely recommended. Bringing a record of your previous vaccinations makes that review far more useful.
Because the appointment takes longer than a routine visit, and because it is worth having well before you fly, call the clinic to arrange a time rather than coming in as a walk-in.
