Is the clinic taking new family practice patients?
That depends on the physicians’ current capacity, so it is not something this page can answer for you. Call 403-273-2215 and ask reception — they will tell you what the position is at the moment. Separately from that, walk-in visits do not require you to be a registered patient of the clinic.
Can I see the same physician each time?
Ask reception when you call. Continuity depends on which physicians are working and when you come in, and the clinic will not promise you an ongoing attachment to one physician. If seeing the same doctor matters to you, say so when you arrange your visit.
Can I bring my children to the same visit?
The physicians here see patients of every age, including infants, children and teenagers. Each patient needs their own visit and their own Alberta Health Care card, so tell reception how many people are being seen when you arrive or when you call ahead.
Do I need an appointment for family medical care?
Not necessarily. The clinic sees walk-in patients during opening hours, and you can also book a time online. For anything longer than a routine visit — a form, an examination, several concerns at once — call ahead so enough of the visit is set aside for it.
What should I bring to a family doctor visit?
Your Alberta Health Care card, a government-issued photo ID, and a list of the medications you take. If the visit is a follow-up, bring anything you were given last time: results, a specialist letter, or a form part-completed.
Can the clinic manage my long-term condition?
